Carol: Head of Design

Carol leads the design teams with many years of experience and always takes an interest in projects that the team are working on.

Carol loves design and home interiors and also selects the stock for the shop – she has been designing kitchens for more decades than she’d like to admit to and, as a keen cook herself, is as interested in making the space functional as well as being aesthetically pleasing.  She was very pleased to be able to work with Neptune as their kitchens without doubt, fit very well.

Marcus: Kitchen Designer

Marcus has over 30 years’ experience working in the kitchen industry with luxury furniture brands Smallbone, Mark Wilkinson Furniture and Neptune.

He prides himself with his experience and in having the confidence to challenge people’s preconceptions and offer them alternative solutions.  His recommendations are always based on sound knowledge and of knowing what works and what doesn’t in all manor of schemes.

He believes that by achieving the right results for his clients it takes a combination of knowledge, unfaltering listening skills and an appreciation that working in a clients home is a highly intimate process.  Clients require someone who they can trust, someone who can guide them through the development process and understand the intricacies involved in complete project management.  His role is to be that guide, assessing architectural drawings, liaising with builder and architects, providing a schedule for installation and ensuring the project stays on track.

Maddy: Design Assistant

Maddy has been working at Aberford Interiors since 2020, starting as a Home Specialist before joining the design team as Design Assistant and Colour Consultant. She is currently working towards her degree in Interior Design. She believes good design should be both aesthetic and reflect the client’s personality and way of life; a space to be lived in and not just looked at.
